Kylie is a Research Analyst (and urban and regional planner) at CSRM at The University of Queensland, working on a study of cumulative socio-economic impacts of coal seam gas (CSG) development in Queensland. Her interests include regional and strategic planning, social profiling, stakeholder engagement, data research and analysis, issues management, strategic communication and project management.

In addition, Kylie is a well-respected tutor and guest lecturer within the Geography, Planning and Environmental Management School (GPEM) for The University of Queensland, for undergraduate and post-graduate students.

Before joining the CSRM, Kylie worked as a Senior Planner and as a Senior Social Consultant in infrastructure projects and development, stakeholder engagement, socio-economic responsibility and urban and regional planning. Furthermore, she was involved in infrastructure coordination, project planning and implementation and all aspects of urban and regional planning and legislation.  

Kylie holds a Bachelor Arts in Social Sciences (Major in Geography) and a Graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning. She was awarded a Scholarship at UQ for a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education. She has also undertaken training with IAP2 (International Association for Public Participation), in the areas of public participation and communication.
