Evaluation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Queensland Resources Council Ltd, the State of Queensland and the Australian Government to Increase Indigenous Employment and Economic Participation in the Queensland Resources Sector.
The current MoU is due to expire on 30th June 2013. QRC has approached CSRM to conduct a review of the effectiveness of the current MoU strategies. The purpose of the evaluation is to review the implementation of relevant MoU strategies and to determine to what extent they have contributed to key factors expected to improve Indigenous employment outcomes.
Project Aims
- Determining to what extend the MoU activities has contributed to increase Indigenous Employment figures in North West Queensland and the Bowen Basin Region
- Determining to what extend the MoU activities has contributed to engage indigenous business with the supply chain of the resources sector.
- Informing MoU partners about the relationship and alignment between the planned outputs and outcomes and whose obtained by the participants.
